What would you get if white appliances and stainless steel appliances had a baby?
Apparently, Whirlpool designers tried the pairing and liked what they conceived. They are now proudly passing out the cigars and showing off their new kitchen appliance collection, White Ice. The big news: the group offers a white finish, stainless handles and mirrored glass.
While it’s great to have a fresh alternative, there is one limitation: White Ice will only work well for people who need a full compliment of appliances – fridge, range, dishwasher and microwave – in order to have a cohesive look.
Folks who are in the market for only one component, and who previously committed to all stainless or all white appliances, might just chop up their space if they add a lone piece in a different finish. My suggestion for you: stick with one type, consistently, to make your kitchen look bigger and more elegant, whichever finish you choose.
