Innovation Nation

Over the last century, the U.S. has been an extraordinarily creative place.
From the towering images of four beloved presidents carved into Mount Rushmore to the sleekly advanced new iPhone 3G, design has had an impact on nearly every aspect of our daily life.
American ingenuity has dramatically affected the structures we live in and work in, the things we use, the clothing we wear, the cars we drive, the places we choose to vacation, the venues we visit, the books we read, the speed at which we communicate and even the food we eat.
The best design concepts seem to be the most obvious, “Gee, that’s such a simple idea! Why didn’t I think of it?” We stand in awe of those who conceive of these fresh ideas because they are brilliant and “original.” It takes guts to create something that has never been done before. Copies abound but, try as they might, for most of us they do not hold the same fascination.
So, thanks to all of the ingenious Americans who continue to inspire us with their creativity and originality and who make our lives fuller, easier and better.
Lauri, you are one of those ingenious Americans who thought of a creative way to help millions of homeowners without the expense of a regular decorator … just by using what they already own! Thanks to you there are hundreds of Interior Refiners out there helping homeowners by inspiring them, involving them and informing them how they can make their homes more beautiful!
Rosalee,
You are very kind to think I am, in any way, a part of that group.
Thank you.
