You Can Never Be Too Thin Or Too Green

If you’ve been thinking about buying a flat-panel television there is good news: There are now LED TVs that are around 1″ deep and offer remarkable color and clarity. images-1And, if you are eco-conscious and want to use less energy, there is even better news: these LED’s will provide a 40% power savings and are EnergyStar 3.0 compatible.

Samsung was the first to offer the ultra-thin televisions and the other manufacturers are now following suit.

Aside from the obvious aesthetic benefits, the slim LEDs are ideal for folks who have traffic patterns that would have revealed the mounting unit and wires, from the sides, that are behind the bigger models. The new slim televisions hug the wall so well that everything in the back is completely hidden. In addition, they are lighter and, for those on pedestals,  easier to swivel.
