I for one LOVE books, a special book can not be replaced on my Kindle. I also feel books are a statment of the individual. I think there will always be books in homes because “Books are the carriers of civilization. Without books, history is silent, literature dumb, science crippled, thought and speculation at a standstill.” Barbara W. Tuchman quote. I do however agree collections, and special “design accessories” add to bookshelves attraction as stated in Laurie Ward’s “Use what you Have” decorating. We will always find room for special books.

We have books in every room of our house. I can not imagine my home without books. My family reads just about everyday. These books are a part of who we are, and a great way to learn , relax , or just be entertained.

I have been thinking about how can I arrange my books so that they require less space and look beautiful. I love you bookshelf but it requires more space. I want a circle shaped design which is suitable for small rooms like mine. If you have any design on that please share it. Thank you.

Hi Christina,
While I have designed circular free-standing bookcases, they have been specified for larger, rather than smaller spaces.
The only thing I can suggest for your small space (without actually visiting the site) is to recommend finding an interior wall where a bookcase niche can be carved out. This won’t require any floor space and, hopefully, will provide a good-looking and functional home for your books.
Good luck!
Lauri
